August may be one of my favorite months yet! JD and I have been DIYing it UP lately. We’ve done a few floating shelves, most notably our living room. We got our engagement pictures back and let me tell you—they are TOTALLY gallery wall worthy. The cherry on top of this month? I had my best friend visit for a quick weekend trip! We got to explore Charleston together and lots of chit chats on the couch. I am so grateful for this past month and looking forward to a wonderful September ahead!

What a whirlwind this past month has been! With lots of DIY, Christmas in July sales, wedding prep, and allergy testing…Yes, you read that right! It’s been quite an eventful month. On top of all of that, JD and I recently shot more engagement photos inspired by the Notebook. Truly, such a dream! It’s one of our favorite movies and I cannot wait to share how they turned out! (Gallery wall update, anyone?!)

MOVING OVER A THOUSAND MILES FROM ALL I’VE EVER KNOWN WOWZA it feels crazy to type that even TWO+ years later. Feels like it was just yesterday.
